You turn on the nightly news and you see stories about recession, kidnappings, murder, terrorism, brush fires -- and the list goes on. But from the Book of Genesis all the way through Revelation, the Bible declares, "Fear not!" What a contrast this is to the society that you and I live in today.</span></p> <p><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:small;">Some of you might be afraid of what you will face today at work. Or maybe as the month comes to an end, you are afraid that you won't have enough money to cover next month's rent. Let me remind you of the words that the Apostle Paul spoke to Timothy: "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind" (2 Timothy 1:7).</span></p> <p><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:small;">It is Satan who wants you to live in fear, but even as both the angel and </span><b><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:small;">Jesus</span></b><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:small;"> said here in Matthew, God's word for </span><i><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:small;">you</span></i><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:small;"> today is, "Do not be afraid!"</span></p> <p><i><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:small;">"And the LORD appeared to him the same night and said, "I am the God of your father Abraham; </span><b><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:small;">do not fear</span></b><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:small;">, for I am with you. I will bless you and multiply your descendants for My servant Abraham's sake" (</span></i><i><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:small;">Genesis 26:24</span></i><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:small;">).</span></p> <p><i><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:small;">"Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin?
